How a Heart Condition and Betrayal Couldn’t Stop This 71-year-old Indian Entrepreneur!

It may sound crazy or ridiculous but yes it is true. We all had & still have
dreams. Let me list mine In school … must have good shoes In college ….. Must
buy a bicycle to start working …must buy a motorcycle Abv are basics, followed by
lot of other wild shit like Ride camels on the Sahara, boating on the Nile, going into
Amazon forest, enjoy natural salmon in Alaska Yukon River & shoot wild pigs from
copters in Texas

Horse riding in the Andes Mountains camping & enjoying barbeques & setting up
businesses around many countries. All done, faced betrayal from my boys
I brought them from India, yes, they are family. But the show must go on because the
energy is still there to keep going, being a man of perseverance.

These days my biggest dream is to ride the small river or canal in Trichy and
Thanjavur & if PSBL helps anyone who wants to clean up & make them navigable
Countries with almost nothing have everything and millions of Indians flock
around there, but we can have much better points of attraction only by cleaning
and painting… we are gifted by nature but ruined them through sheer neglect.
This name Vanangamudi Nathan, sounded funny 71 years ago, coz was one of
two in the whole world. Now 57 of us are around. I’m excited to share my life’s
journey and experiences with you. And want you to come up with your
comments of all sorts The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. Pls feel free and go ahead
, everyone.
Two years after Shivaji Rao Gaikwad I saw the light of my life on the same
December 12th in India & had a hectic life studying, playing, working, fcku around & and fulfilling my dream to travel the world. Rock climbing and swimming in the sea were
adventurous in India coz they were free of cost & the panorama changed to
gliding, skydiving & riding superbikes in Europe & choppers all over south
America. Gold mining on the banks of Amazon tributaries & the rocky peaks of
Andes mountain ranges are really fun but are now prohibited by law. I am a citizen of
Chile is in South America, but my heart, mind, and soul are deeply rooted in our
national Indian heritage. Tamil the world’s oldest language never ceases to
fascinate me coz the more languages I learn, the more I admire Tamil.. and I am
immensely proud of our Indian cuisine, traditions, beliefs, and the teachings of
our ancient epics and Thirukkural.
For more than 36 years, I have called South America my home. Married in Chile
and have four wonderful mix breeds, they are my biggest treasure, and now all
grown-up and established professionals worldwide. My story starts in Japan as
an international salesman covering over 80 countries selling electronics and
textiles all MADE IN JAPAN & circumstances moved me to deal with used
Japanese motorcycles in south America using my friendly contacts in Japan. This
kindled my passion for motorcycles. Initially, I just imported & sold used
motorcycles from Japan & later Chinese new bikes with my registered brand
name SUMO in eight Latin American countries. The last few years have created two
models of my own KIKAZ and FUGAZ working with a talented 3D design team
in China.
Made good friends all over Latin America on business but the best country to
have a great time in Argentina. Yes, you read that right – the land of the great
Messi in Argentina also saw the rise of the SUMO brand, which I sold there for
15 years. My ex-business partners, now my great friends, and I reminisce about
the good old days. Many of our peers have said their goodbyes and are awaiting
us in the other world. We miss them dearly when the rest of us mortals get
together, but we know that our turn to join them is just around the corner.
Despite our age, we are not worn out. We make them, MOST of the little we are left
with.. We drive cars and trucks, ride bikes and ATVs, enjoy horse riding, swimming in
lakes, rivers, and the sea, and love fishing, barbecuing, dining, dancing, and
always enjoying the best of wine. Life in Latin America can keep anyone of us
vibrant and youthful if you are ready to embrace it..
My motorcycle rides are often long, sometimes lasting a couple of days or more.
It’s during these rides that I feel most alive, exploring the beauty of this land and
the richness of its culture. This sense of adventure also extends to my recent
endeavour: starting a YouTube channel named “noguru tamil.” At the age of 70, I
began documenting my experiences and insights. Unfortunately, my channel
faced challenges when I shared a reality report on how four COVID-19 vaccines
negatively impacted my heart. After trying and failing with modern medicine in
the West, I returned to my motherland, India, and specifically to Tamil Nadu.
There, I found healing through natural medicine in Trichy, a city with great
potential for future development. In just eight months, I was cured of cardiac
arrhythmia, a testament to the power of traditional healing methods.
I documented the journey of my treatment, but my videos were erased, and my
channel was blocked by the algorithm. However, this setback hasn’t deterred
me from sharing my story. Through this blog, I want to highlight the potential of
cities like Trichy and Thanjavur to become major tourist attractions, rivalling
even Singapore. With the right planning and community effort, these cities can
flourish.

Another significant challenge I faced was the betrayal by my cousin, who was
also my business partner and the most trusted person in this part of the world. After
returning from an extended trip to India and China, I discovered that he had
embezzled properties, merchandise, and cash worth over 40 crores of rupees.
This betrayal was a hard blow, but it has only strengthened my resolve to
continue working hard and helping others. Karma will catch up with him & time
will decide the day of his judgement.
You may wonder why I am sharing all this now. The simple answer is that I want
to provide a real-life perspective on Latin American culture and the
opportunities it presents. Our way of life here is a fascinating blend of European
influences and native traditions, especially in terms of food, religion, and
clothing. By sharing videos, pictures, and live feeds of my mostly travelling
business life, I aim to offer valuable insights to job seekers, adventurers, and
investors.
Latin America, particularly Peru, has a rich and diverse history. The Amazon
forest, covering 60% of Peru, is a marvel of nature, and the mighty Amazon
The river originates from the southern part of this country PERU These natural
wonders are just a part of what makes this region so special.
For Indian chefs, there are incredible opportunities in the gastronomy sector.
Peru, with its 30,000 Chinese restaurants, has less than ten Indian restaurants
open to the public. This presents a golden opportunity for Indian chefs to
introduce and popularize our rich culinary heritage & find satisfying rewards
Indian exporters can also find numerous opportunities here. If you have any
questions about what products can be exported from India, feel free to reach out
to me. I’m here to provide guidance and support.
To those in the motorcycle field, this is the perfect time to set up your own
assembly plants in India. Make-in-India motorcycles are in high demand for their
quality and durability. My experience of working with Chinese factories and my
design team has taught me valuable lessons that I am eager to share with
aspiring entrepreneurs.
Life in Latin America has been an incredible journey filled with ups and downs.
From dancing on the Machu Picchu monument in Peru to navigating the
complexities of international business, I have learned that resilience and
adaptability are key. The cultural richness and diverse opportunities here have
shaped my life in profound ways.
I want to emphasize that I am here to help without expecting any monetary
compensation in return. My goal is to use my contacts and knowledge to support
my fellow countrymen. Whether you are looking for business opportunities,
planning an adventurous trip, or seeking advice on setting up a business, I am
here to assist you.
Never stop dreaming and never let setbacks hold you back. Life is full of
opportunities, and with the right mindset and support, you can achieve great
things. Follow my journey, ask questions, and let’s explore the vibrant life that
Latin America offers together.
Blessings,
Vanangamudi Nathan
